Andrés Mastrangelo plays the bass in Zappallitos, a band that contributed to the "Unmatched" Zappa tribute series. He also contributed 'Easy Meat' to the "Unmatched" volume seven.
In 2005, Andrés Mastrangelo released his first solo album, "Dis Is Da Candombe". It included Frank Zappa's 'He's So Gay'.
