Tuesday, February 13, 7 p.m., Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum - An evening with Paul Zollo and Tomas Ulrich., Zollo, an author and musician known for conducting an celebrated interview with the elusive Zappa, and Ulrich, a composer and cellist deeply influenced by Zappa, will discuss Zappa's life and interest in orchestral composition. Zollo is currently the Senior Editor of American Songwriter magazine, in addition to being the author of several books, including Songwriters On Songwriting, Expanded Edition, and Conversations with Tom Petty. Ulrich has written music for theater, film, and instrumental performance and has played concerts in Europe, Japan, South America, Canada, and throughout the United States. He can be heard on more than sixty CDs in a wide variety of musical styles and settings. This event is free with a reservation. Please email edu@rockhall.org to RSVP.
