Dutch comic book artist Gerrit de Jager added an illustration to the back-cover of "Wordt Vervolgd: Stripleksikon der Lage Landen", a 1979 encyclopedia about Dutch and Flemish comic books by Evelien and Kees Kousemaker.
He illustrated the letter "Z" and added a the cover of Frank Zappa's "Chunga's Revenge" album to the side of the bed.

Gerrit de Jager is known for the series "De Familie Doorzon" and "Roel en z'n Beestenboel".
