This interview was reprinted in Best Of Guitar Player: A Definitive Tribute To Frank Zappa (1994).

Track 3 (25:20) and Track 4 (18:44) are both from an interview conducted in 1979. Joe's Garage had been recorded but not released, and FZ was planning to have his home studio constructed. I haven't been able to determine where (if anywhere) this interview was published.

Rosen's early 1980s interview (mentioned in the booklet but not heard on the disc) was published in Record Review (6/82). A German translation was published in Fachblatt Music Magazin (6/82)
