quarteto nuevo
Quarteto Nuevo was founded in 2001 by master
percussionist Christopher Garcia. This world/jazz/chamber ensembles
unique style is the product of the musical diversity of its members who are
deeply rooted in the worlds of North and South Indian, Classical, Mexican
Indigenous, Folkloric and Jazz music.
The Quartet Nuevo recorded Frank Zappa's 'T'Mershi Duween' and released
it on their eponymous album in 2010.
