The Brooklyn Philharmonic performed Frank Zappa's 'While You Were Out' in concert at (at least) two times in New York City.

December 1996, The Brooklyn Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Robert Spano, teamed up with The Persuasions, The Accidentals, and Gertrude Thoma to perform the music of Lous Andriessen, Frank Zappa and John Adams.
