ryko japan has rereleased some fourty zappa albums on cd as a 'paper sleeve edition'. this means that the the cd-package, looks like a little lp album, that all the original inserts are there, and that the cd itself looks like a little vinyl album as well - labels included. a fine piece of work.
this first series of 21 titles was accompanied by a beautiful box that can
carry these discs. at the same time, the green chunga's revenge was
released. (i haven't got a picure of the box yet.)
in 2002, the next part got released.
a japanese distributor / store issued a box for the above mentioned six
albums.
